For our Compliance Department at the regional headquarters, we are looking for a

 

(Junior) Compliance Counsel / Compliance Operations Officer (m/f/div).

Overview

FUJIFILM Europe operates an effective compliance management system to prevent, detect and, if necessary, respond to incidents in the areas of antitrust, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, white collar crime and data protection. The Compliance Department is responsible for developing and maintaining this system.

 

The (Junior) Compliance Counsel / Compliance Operations Officer will assume an important role in planning, coordinating and facilitating the execution of compliance activities and projects within the EMEA region. With this position, we offer you an exciting challenge in a highly international environment. You will work within and outside of the compliance community and will get to know how Fujifilm contributes to the quality of life with innovative products and effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the business partner due diligence programme, e.g. by screening and evaluating business partners, administering the respective software, helping to constantly improve the due diligence programme and related internal procedures and educate internal stakeholders;
  • Assist in preparing and conducting compliance audits, self-audits and risk assessments and follow-up with mitigating measures;
  • Support FUJIFILM Europe’s training programme e.g. by designing and organizing online and face-to-face trainings for management, business divisions, affiliated companies and local compliance officers;
  • Assist in the organization of the EMEA wide compliance officer network (including meetings, concerted activities etc.) and participate in exchanging information and experience;
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness;
  • Monitor regulatory changes and help update compliance programs accordingly;
  • Collaborate with related functions including legal, internal audit and finance.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree, preferably in law, business administration, economics or a similar field;
  • 2-4 years working experience in compliance/auditing/consulting;
  • Good understanding of the meaning and significance of compliance management systems;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Good presentation and communication skills in English both oral and in writing; other language skills welcome;
  • Impeccable level of personal integrity and high ethical standards;
  • Cross-cultural, commercial and organizational awareness;
  • Good knowledge of IT applications (MS365 etc.) and good technical skills;
  • Experience in third party due diligence activities is a plus.
